As part of Bike-A-Palooza some of the adult games will include bike jousting, a derby, a bunny hop contest, and a chariot race. For the chariot race the inspiration came from this:
But I'm guessing our first (1st) year's race will be tamer. Maybe I'll be surprised.
My chariot is coming together.
I need to PVC glue it up, put the wheels on (yet to be obtained), and install the platform. My rider is a former pole vaulter so I have that going for me.
Bike-A-Palooza is this Saturday, June 26th, with the adult games starting at loosely 6 PM. Bring a bike, bring all the protection you have, and sign an organ donor card.
