New, Old Bike

I'm getting close to chariot completion. As I was nearing the finish it occurred to me I was not sure which bike I was going to pull it with.

My first (1st) choice was the single speed Cross Check. However, the chariot is, well, a bit hefty. Single speed might not be the ticket.

As I looked the fleet over I decided there was not a bike I have that I wanted to subject to the rigors of the race. One (1) trip to my local bike shop fixed that.

I picked up, borrowed, absconded with, a Roadmaster Edge. Or, is it an Edge Roadmaster? No matter. It works more or less. I wanted the actual bike I was going to pull the chariot with on hand to finish the build. The chariot to bike coupling is a bit tricky.

Tonight I put on the wheels, notch out the deck for the wheel fittings, and hitch it to the bike. Hopefully this all goes smoothly and I get to do a test run.
