I’ll admit it. I’m on drugs. No, not that kind. The over-the-counter kind. I can’t seem to get to sleep at night without taking something. For quite a while I was taking a shot of NyQuil every night. That seemed to be working well but screwing up my sinuses. Now it’s maximum strength Sominex. If I forget, or for whatever reason don’t take anything, I can NOT get to sleep. Damn insomnia.
I happy to report my income taxes done and have been sent (electronically). I am not so happy to report a check will be following in the mail. Damn taxes.
More on task, I’m working on the bridges for the singletrack project. I now have the ramps to bridges connections figured out and designed. Since each bridge is more or less custom, though they look identical, I’ll need to do a bit of work, take measurements, go back to the shop and do some more work, test fit, and THEN final assembly and welds.
We had rain yesterday, today, and rain is predicted for tomorrow. I’m anxious to get in the park this weekend to see how muddy, or not, it is. The park has the very unique soil profile in that it digs very easily, but packs down pretty hard, and drains pretty well.
Ride On.

U live in south dakota
fucking polar tundra of the world

I bet ur blood got almost none now

I've had many nights like that. It really does suck!
The only thing I've ever taken was tylenol pm. Afraid to touch anything else.
Sometimes a glass of wine helps. Then again, sometimes a whole bottle is nice.
I take beer.
Hey, next time you're in town (if you're a beer lover): Four Firkins. Corner of Mtka Blvd and Texas, just east of highway 169.
I lost my ability to sleep through the night a few years back and Benadryl saved me. It keeps me asleep though I have to take it 10 hours before I want to get up as it has a long tail.
@Walter: I take 4000 unit of D every single day and it really helps.
@Vito: WIne is great at getting me to sleep but I wake up at 2:37 when it's too late to drink more and still make it to work.
I wake up about 2am every night. I've used over-the-counter sleep aids like Somenex, Benedryl, and Nyquil. They all work, but seem to leave some side effects in the morning.
That reminds me, I think I'll take a nap now.
